24345 State Route WW
Ste. Genevieve, MO 63670

Wines Tasted:
Chardonel (semi-dry but fairly sweet grapefruit/pineapple)
Bouvet Blanc (smells dry, an apple taste)
Huguenot Red, N.V. (tastes like raspberry and grapefruit)
Port 2008 (grape brandy in oak barrels, a nice port, very strong)

$5 tastings. They didn’t have many sweet wines (many out of stock) so we split one tasting. Chaumette opened in 2003, and is named after Jean de la Chaumette who moved to Virginia from France in 1722.
