It was things like Cabernet, Merlot, and Sauvignon Blanc. I didn’t write down what they had because they change their wine list every week so I didn’t see the point. I also was not impressed by any of the wines because they were all dry oaky varieties for people who have been drinking wine longer than I have.
$5 tasting, $1 to add additional wines. They also have beer tastings of Boulevard beer but if you’ve ever been to Kansas City you have probably been to the Boulevard brewery and tried them all already. You have to stand while drinking which is tiresome but it’s probably the prettiest place in the Stockyards. The building itself is historical and contains lots of pieces of other buildings which might be interesting to other people. It was fun to look at the barrel room, which is a room full of wine barrels. My companion did not like the woman here because she was trying to use sorority charms that I did not notice.
