Independence Uncorked 2015

Independence Uncorked is a wine festival in Independence, MO on the grounds of the Bingham-Waggoner estate, on September 12, 2015. It is sponsored by the Rotary Club and there were about 20 different wineries there, plus some people selling snacks or crafts. When you pay to get in they give you a stemless wine glass which is your glass for the day, so you have a lovely keepsake and you don’t have to use plastic cups. The wineries usually bring just a few different wines to taste but it is a great way to sample a lot of wines from a lot of wineries all over Missouri in one day. There were so many wineries present that we were unable to try them all, so here are the ones we tried.
