White Rose Winery

White Rose Winery
13001 Journey Rd
Carthage, MO 64836

Wines Tasted:
Vidal Blanc – very dry, long long finish
Lady in Gold – Vidal Blanc that aged 2 years, makes it more semi-sweet
Sweet Lady in Gold – still the Vidal Blanc, sweeter, tastes like orange
Brandy – made with Chambourcin, very light, almost clear. 80 proof, smells like paint thinner and old people (sorry, as you can see I don’t drink brandy). David liked it a lot.

This winery is in a bed and breakfast. Yes, it really is the same wine aged for different lengths of time. It was an interesting experience to see what a difference aging makes.
